The Northwestern College softball team concluded its 2010 season with a doubleheader split against Concordia in GPAC softball action played Saturday afternoon. Concordia won game one 3-0 but NWC came back to win the nightcap 4-1.

Northwestern lost a conference softball doubleheader to Dordt last night in Sioux Center, losing 5-1 and 8-0 in five innings. The Red Raiders lost their fifth straight game and dropped to 3-13 in the GPAC, 7-25 overall.

The Northwestern College softball team lost to Midland Lutheran in a GPAC doubleheader Friday night to fall to 3-11 in the GPAC, 7-23 overall. The Raider lost game one 2-1 and fell 3-1 in game two.

The Northwestern College softball team heads to Fremont, Neb. to play Midland Lutheran in a GPAC doubleheader beginning at 5:00 pm. The Red Raiders are tied for 11th in the GPAC with a 3-9 record, 7-21 overall. Midland Lutheran is seventh in the GPAC with a 6-6 record, 16-18 overall.

The Northwestern College softball team split with Buena Vista in a non-conference doubleheader last night, taking game one 6-2 but losing in the nightcap, 8-0. The Red Raiders are now 7-21 on the season.

The Northwestern College softball team will take the field again this afternoon as they play host to Buena Vista in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 4:30 pm. The Red Raiders are 6-20 overall after earning a split in last night's GPAC doubleheader vs USF. Buena Vista is 8-10 overall this season.
