The 2008 GPAC Softball Postseason Tournament bracket has been released and the Red Raiders are seeded fourth in the eight-team field. The event will be played at the Smith Softball Complex in Hastings, Neb. and will begin May 1 and conclude on Saturday, May 3. Northwestern finished in a four-way tie for fourth place with Dana and Briar Cliff but hold the tie-break over both teams. Concordia, the regular season champion, is the top seed followed by Morningside and Midland Lutheran.
Northwestern will open postseason play tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 pm against #5 Briar Cliff.
