<description><![CDATA[Northwestern welcomes former soccer coach TJ Buchholz and the Wartburg Knights to Orange City today in a 4:00 pm men's soccer match.  Northwestern enters the contest with a 5-5-1 record while Wartburg enters with a 7-3 record.  Northwestern is coming off of a tie versus Midland Lutheran on Saturday while Wartburg is playing for the first time since a 10-1 pounding of Cornell College.  ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Northwestern men's soccer got a hard fought win over Morningside on Wednesday evening, 3-2, in double overtime.  The Raiders improved to 3-3 overall and start the GPAC season 1-0.  Aaron O'Brien scored with two minutes to play in the second overtime, in the 108th minute of the match. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Northwestern College is pleased to announce that Dan Swier has been hired as the new Head Men’s Soccer Coach. He will be replacing T.J. Buchholz who resigned earlier this spring to take over both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Wartburg College (Iowa). Swier is a 2006 graduate of Northwestern and has spent the last two years in Arlington, Texas, earning his master’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of Texas at Arlington. He and his wife Morgan (Walker-’06) are both former letter-winners in soccer at Northwestern.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[T.J. Buchholz, the director of soccer at Northwestern, has resigned and taken the same position at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Last season, the men's team qualified for the NAIA National Tournament for the first time in school history, finished with a 12-8-1 record, and won the NAIA Region III Championship.  The women's team finished 7-10-1 and was 7-4-1 in the conference.]]></description>
