Hall of Fame athletes are recognized for outstanding athletic achievement, fine character and a commitment to the ideals and Christian perspectives Northwestern College teaches.

Hall of Fame athletes must have had outstanding athletic achievement and have graduated at least five years ago. They must be a graduate of the college, junior college or academy and must be a documented letter-winner. Candidates must display fine character and a commitment to the ideals and Christian perspectives Northwestern College teaches. This award can be given posthumously.
