Matt McCarty

Director of Athletic Recruitment

Coach McCarty is a 2003 Northwestern graduate. A former Raider football player, he earned honorable mention All-American recognition his senior season. He was also a three-time all-conference honoree, a four-year letter winner at the defensive back position and served as a team captain his senior season. In addition to his tenure on the football team, McCarty played baseball at NWC and was an honorable mention selection in 2002 and 2003.

After graduating from NWC, McCarty was a teacher and coach at Okoboji Community Schools. He worked as an assistant football coach and the head baseball coach for the Pioneers. McCarty’s wife, Alicia, is a 2005 Northwestern grad.
