On The Mound
Alec Rickabaugh started game one of the doubleheader. Rickabaugh went the distance going eight innings, allowing eight hits, two runs, two walks, and three strikeouts. Rickabaugh was too much for Midland as he had the answer for every Midland threat. Rickabaugh moves to 1-2 and lowered his season ERA to 4.02.
At The Plate
Dustin Gaither led the team with two hits. David Rowley got the Raiders on the board in the 2nd inning with great situational hitting when he hit into a fielder's choice to score Gaither from third base. Mitchell Kresnik in the 3rd inning drove in a run with another great at bat to score Michael Callahan from third. Midland and Northwestern were all tied up going to the bottom of the 8th when AJ Nitzschke came to the plate with runners on 1st and 3rd. Nitzschke executed a fantastic safety squeeze to score Kresnik from third base and walk off on the Warriors.

              Midland University 8 (17-10)
On The Mound
Preslee Moy made his 2nd career start for the Raiders. Moy struggled early and could not fully get comfortable in the game going four innings, allowing five hits, five runs, walking one, and recording one strikeout. Zac Bridger came in and threw two scoreless innings while striking two out. Josh Lucken allowed his first earned runs on the season as he recorded two outs, allowing four hits, three runs, two earned, and recording one strikeout. Mark Primrose came on and recorded the final out for the Raiders.
At The Plate
Northwestern was led at the plate by
Christian Stekl who had two hits and a RBI.
Reed Smith,
Colton Harold,
Michael Callahan, and
Dustin Gaither all had one hit. The Raiders on the day scored three runs, on six hits, walking four times, and striking out six times.
