Northwestern out to continue program progress
Rik Dahl looks over his Northwestern wrestling program and is pleased with the direction it is going. Two years ago he may not have been able to say that. Dahl watched his team lose 11 of 14 duals it took part in and it had the competitive coach, a former All-American for the Red Raiders in 1997, rethinking more than a few things.

Northwestern will send ten wrestlers to the Sioux City Open on Saturday. Northwestern is coming off of consecutive victories over Morningside and Midland in the last week and will be participating in their final regular season tournament of the season.

Northwestern knocked off the Morningside Mustangs on Saturday by the score of 20-19 by way of criteria. Both teams were tied at 19 after ten matches, but NWC was awarded the extra point due to winning six of the ten matches. After the dual, NWC faced the alumni, then dedicated the Bartlett Wrestling Room.
