Northwestern fell to Upper Iowa 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in Fayette, Iowa. The Raiders went scoreless despite out-shooting UIU 16-13. Northwestern was led by Andy Janssen with five shots, one on goal. Aaron O'Brien put two shots on goal of his three total shots and Tommy Tucker also had two shots on goal of the five he took. Kyle Heynen, Steven Grand, and Aron Pall also had shots for the Red Raiders. Goalkeeper Ben Schneider had seven saves and allowed on goal on a breakaway to Steve Kluck assisted by Craig Signorin. Northwester had seven corner kicks but couldn't manage to get one into the net and dropped to 2-3 overall. Northwestern takes on the Morningside Mustangs next at 7:30 on Wednesday night in Sioux City.
