The men's soccer team takes to the road this weekend after a two week lay-off, heading to Fayette, Iowa to take on NCAA D-II Upper Iowa University.  the Peacocks come in with a 2-3-1 overall record while Northwestern has a 2-2 record.  This game will be played as the second half of a women's/men's soccer double header.  

Northwestern is currently on a two match winning streak and has gotten two consecutive shut-outs from their defense/goalkeeper.  Northwestern is averaging 2.25 goals a game while Upper Iowa is averaging 1.61.  The Red Raider offense is led by freshman forward Tommy Tucker, who as three goals and one assist.  Jordan Born (one goal and two assists) is tied for second on the team in points with Aron Pall (two goals) with four a piece.  Andy Janssen and Aaron O'Brien have each scored one goal and collected one assist in Northwestern's four games.  Craig Signorin (four goals and three assists) and Derek Oelmann (two goals) are Upper Iowa's top scoring threats, accounting for over 50% of the Peacock offense.

Ben Schneider and Jeff Lanser have split time in goal for Northwestern, both collecting a shut-out and 1-1 records.  Andy Youde has been in goal every minute for Upper Iowa, he has a 2.57 goals against average and has made 35 saves in six contests.

Northwestern will open the GPAC schedule on Wednesday, at Morningside, following the women.  Start time is estimated at 7:30 pm.
