Thomas Tucker (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Northwestern beginning in the fall of 2008.

Tucker, the son of Michael and Annie, is a 5'7" forward/midfielder from Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Last season he scored 14 goals and had five assists under head coach Ben Corley. Pine Creek finished 9-7 on the season. Tucker was named to the All-State team his senior season along with first team all-league, which he earned two seasons. Tucker is the school record holder for assists in a career, 23, and tied the school record for goals in a career, 30.

"Thomas comes to our program with a very successful high school career under his belt," said head coach Dan Swier. "He has competed at a very high level and we expect him to compete nicely on our team. We are excited he has chosen to join our program."

Tucker will be a nursing major.
