Northwestern Men's Soccer Adds Lincoln Prep

Nov 17, 2008

Taylor W. Biggs (Lincoln, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Northwestern College next fall.

The son of Greg and June, Biggs is a 5’8” forward/midfielder who plays for Lincoln East High School. He scored three goals for 9-5 East during his junior season.  Biggs has earned two letters thus far and will likely earn three letters for East.  In 2007, Biggs and Lincoln East was the Nebraska State Runner-Up.  Biggs will start as an undecided major at Northwestern.

Coach Swier comments, “We are happy to welcome Taylor into the soccer program at Northwestern.  Taylor comes from a solid high school program and knows what it takes to compete at a high level.  He is a mature young man and an excellent player.”

Northwestern College is a Christian college of 1,225 students in Orange City, Iowa. Rated a top-10 Midwestern baccalaureate college by U.S. News & World Report magazine, Northwestern provides an education that combines academic rigor with a faith perspective.
