Zac Zmiewski (Lincoln, Nebraska) has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Northwestern College next year.
The son of Anthony and Jodi, Zmiewski is a forward/defender Lincoln East High School. Lincoln East finished 10-6 this spring and Zmiewski will have lettered three times for East over the course of his career. East was a state qualifier last season. Zmiewski scored three goals and made five assists for coach Jeff Hoham. Zmiewski was named a Heartland All-Conference Forward and All-State honorable mention in 2008 and was also an Academic All-State and Academic All-Conference soccer player. He was named a Lincoln Public Schools Scholar Athlete as a junior, has been on the honor roll throughout high school and has earned an academic letter at East H.S. Zmiewski plans to major in Chemistry at Northwestern.
“Zac is a solid player from a very good program. He possesses intangibles that will contribute to his success at the collegiate level," said head coach Dan Swier. "The men's soccer program welcomes Zac and looks forward to his contributions on the field next fall."
