White and Schneider Earn GPAC Player of the Week Awards

Colorado Springs, Colo. natives Brad White and Ben Schneider both earned GPAC Player of the Week awards for their efforts this past week.  White, a sophomore, scored two goals and had one assist for Northwestern as they defeated Morningside 2-1 in double OT and Hastings 1-0.  White found Blake Wieking early in the second overtime versus Morningside, setting him him up for the golden goal.  White also scored the only goal for Northwestern as they defeated Hastings for the first time in school history Saturday afternoon.  Freshman Schneider picked up his fifth GPAC shut-out against Hastings on Saturday, making five saves.  He only allowed one goal on the week, against Morningside, and his goals against average is 0.57.
