Northwestern defeats Concordia 3-0

Northwestern defeated Concordia 3-0 Saturday afternoon, improving their record to 5-4 overall and 2-1 in GPAC play.  The Raiders out-shot Concordia 18-14 and had seven corner kicks to the Bulldog's two.  Ben Schneider collected his first shut-out as a Raider and saved five shots.  

Aaron O'Brien scored two goals for the Red Raiders, one assisted by Aron Pall and one assisted by Brad White, and Andy Janssen scored the third goal of the evening off of a Jordan Born assist.  O'Brien's first goal came off of a corner kick in the 16th minute.  O'Brien again found the net, this time in the 48th minute off a White pass.  Janssen capped the scoring on the 60th minute netting his sixth goal of the season.  White and Janssen had five shots, Pall had three shots, O'Brien netted both of his shots, while Born, Blake Wieking, and Ben Karnish all had one shot.  White collected his fifth assist of the season.  O'Brien has eight goals this season for Northwestern and a team high 16 points.

The Raiders will travel to Mitchell, South Dakota to take on Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday in Northwestern's fourth consecutive GPAC contest.
