Northwestern Announces 2012 Soccer Schedule
Coach Swier has released the match schedule for the fall of 2012. The schedule is made up of ten conference and eight non-conference matches. The Red Raiders open their home schedule with Trinity Christian and Waldorf in the Pizza Ranch Classic on August 31st/September 1st.

Northwestern To Host Soccer Camps
Northwestern College and Red Raider soccer programs will host two soccer camps this summer at the newly renovated Northwestern College soccer complex.

Northwestern Signs Josh Potter
Josh Potter (Orland Park, Illinois) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Northwestern beginning next fall. Potter, the son of Joseph and Linda, is a 6-0 defender from Chicago Christian H.S. Last season, Chicago Christian went 18-6-1 and was the Regional Champions. Potter scored seven goals and made 12 assists and helped force eight shut-outs as a defender

Nathan Mastbergen Named NAIA Scholar-Athlete
Nathan Mastbergen, a junior defender from Sioux City, has been named a 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete. Mastbergen started 16 games this year for the Raiders. He is majoring in English Education.

Mario Garcia and Nick Hengst Earn 2nd Team All-GPAC Honors
Junior Mario Garcia and sophomore Nick Hengst earned Second Team All-GPAC men's soccer honors today. Garcia finished the season with seven goals and five assists while Hengst made one goal. Justin Lehman, Matt Dowie, and goalkeeper Luis Hernandez were named honorable mentions.
