Ryan Kiewiet (Grundy Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College next fall.Kiewiet.jpg)
Kiewiet is a three-year letter winner who plays for Grundy Center Community High School. He earned first team all-state honors last year as a junior after leading his team to a 53-2 record and a third place finish at the state tournament. Kiewiet boasts a personal best of 71 on 18 holes. An honor roll student, Kiewiet plans to major in athletic training. He is the son of Mark and Shelley and will join his brother, Ross, who currently is a sophomore at NWC, on next year’s team.
“I am extremely excited that Ryan has decided to join our golf program,” commented assistant coach Aaron Aberson. “He is a very accomplished high school golfer and has the potential to make an immediate impact on our team. I look forward to Ryan’s contributions on and off the golf course.”
