May 15	Vermeer Finishes Play at NAIA Men's Golf Championship For the second straight day, Luke Vermeer shot a five-over 77 in the third round at the 2008 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships. The sophomore from Sioux Center is +16 after three rounds and is tied for 86th place with five other golfers. The field is cut to the top 17 teams and 40 individuals (including ties) after 54 holes.
May 14	Vermeer Cards a 77 in Second Round; In 81st Place at Midway Point Luke Vermeer carded a five-over 77 in the second round of the 2008 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship. The sophomore from Sioux Center, Iowa, is 11 over for the tournament and is currently tied for 81st place as he begins third round play on Thursday morning at 8:15am. The championship is being played at the Indiana National Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind.

May 12	Vermeer Named GPAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Year Luke Vermeer, a sophomore from Sioux Center, Iowa, earned first team all-GPAC honors and was named 2008 GPAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Year. Vermeer won the conference meet by one stroke with an even-par 144 at Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa.
May 12	Vermeer Set to Play at the 2008 Men's Golf Championship Luke Vermeer (Sioux Center, Iowa) will represent Northwestern College and the men's golf team at the 2008 NAIA Men's Golf Championship. The four day, 72-hole event is being played at the Indiana National Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind. Play will begin this morning (May 13) at 8:00 am and will conclude Friday, May 16. Apr 30	Vermeer Wins Regional Championship; Advances to NAIA Men's Golf National Championship Luke Vermeer earned overall medalist honors and won the NAIA Region III Men's Golf Championship last night at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, S.D. The sophomore from Sioux Center shot a two-day, four-over total of 148 and won the championship by one stroke over Ron Harder (Midland Lutheran).

Apr 23	Luke Vermeer Wins GPAC Men's Golf Championship Luke Vermeer claimed medalist honors and was crowned the GPAC Men's Golf Individual Champion at the GPAC Championships played at Green Valley Golf Club in Sioux City, Iowa. The sophomore from Sioux Center, Iowa shot an even-par 144, one shot better than runner-up Chris Rager from Morningside.
Apr 22	Vermeer Cards a Two-Under 70; Overall Leader at GPAC Championships Sophomore Luke Vermeer is the overall leader after day one at the GPAC Men's Golf Championships played at Green Valley Golf Club in Sioux City, Iowa. Vermeer carded a two-under 70 and is two shots in front of second place Tyler Evenson from Dakota Wesleyan. Vermeer shot an even-par 36 on the front nine and a two-under 34 on the back nine.
Apr 21	Men's Golf Team Closes Regular Season With Fourth Place Finish at BVU The Northwestern College men's golf team wrapped up regular season play with a fourth place finish out of 17 teams at the two-day Buena Vista Invitational this past weekend. The Red Raiders shot a 324 on day one and a season best 298 on day two for a two-day total of 622.
Apr 21	Men's Golf Team to Compete at GPAC Championships The Northwestern College men's golf team is set to begin competing at the GPAC Conference Championships hosted by Briar Cliff University and played at the Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa. 11 teams from the GPAC will begin teeing off around 9:00 am with Northwestern playing the final pairings of the day at around 10:15 am.
Apr 18	Men's Golf to Play at Buena Vista Spring Invite The Red Raiders will compete in their final meet of the regular season as they take part in the two-day Buena Vista University Spring Invitational. Day one will be played at the Spencer Golf and Country Club while day two will be played in Storm Lake. The first round will begin around 10:00 am.
Apr 15	Vermeer Cards a 76; Red Raiders Place Seventh at Midland Invite The Northwestern College men's golf team placed seventh out of 11 teams at the Midland Lutheran Men's Invitational played yesterday at the Fremont Golf Club. The Red Raiders shot 326, just 15 shots in back of first place Hastings College with a 311.
