NWC and Concordia Battle in Men's Soccer

Northwestern (8-5-1, 4-1-1) and Concordia (8-5, 4-1) will face each other today in a matchup between top four GPAC teams in the standings with two weeks remaining. Northwestern will honor the parents of current players and the seniors today immediately following the women's game.

Northwestern has out-scored their opponents 37-23 this season and out-shot them by a 284-156 margin. Koray Karakas leads NWC with eight goals. Ryan Johnson (7), Gabriel Goncalves (6), Nick Hengst (3), and Nate Huyser (3) round out the top five on the Raider attack in goals. Goncalves leads Northwestern with eight assists. Harri Edwards has made five assists and eight other Raiders either have one or two assists this season.

Aaron Bosch has made 44 saves this season and has allowed 23 goals. He currently carries a 1.59 goals against average. Bosch and the defense have made three shutouts this season.

The Bulldog attack has made 31 goals on 185 shots. Nathan Douglas has made 11 goals to lead the offense while Chris DeFeyter has made six goals. Douglas also has a team high five assists while Jake Sells has four assists and is second on the team.

Brendan Buchanan has made 56 saves and has allowed 18 goals this season. He currently has a 1.47 goals against average.

Northwestern will renew its rivalry with Dordt on Tuesday in the Raider's next match.
