Men's Soccer Faces Dakota Wesleyan

Northwestern (7-5-1, 3-1-1) and Dakota Wesleyan (7-3-2, 2-1-1) face off in a key GPAC men's soccer match. The Red Raiders have won three of their last four matches while Dakota Wesleyan's only loss in their last five matches came to #6 Hastings College.

Northwestern has scored 35 goals and has allowed 23 this season. Koray Karakas leads NWC with eight goals while Ryan Johnson has scored seven and Gabriel Goncalves has scored four goals. Goncalves leads the Raider attack with eight assists. Harri Edwards has made five assists and is second on the team. Northwestern has out-shot their opponents 269-143 and 121-69 in shots on goal. The Red Raiders have also forced 74 corner kicks and allowed 41.

Aaron Bosch has allowed 23 goals and has made 44 saves. He also has two shutouts this season and has a goals against average of 1.71.

Dakota Wesleyan has scored 23 goals and has allowed only 15. They have out-shot their opponents 215-170 and 103-81 in shots on goal. They have forced 56 corner kicks and allowed 51. Individually, Mike Haight has scored six goals and Chaz Foss has scored five goals to lead the Tiger offense. Carlos Mora has a team best five assists. Tyler Grilley has scored twice and has three assists.

Alex Nelson has made 53 saves and has allowed 11 goals. He currently has a goals against average of 1.11 to go with two shutouts.

After a week off, Northwestern will take on Concordia next Saturday in Orange City. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00pm at the NWC Soccer complex.
