Red Raiders Shoot Low Round of Morning Session

Northwestern was among 14 teams that completed today’s second round at the NAIA Men’s Golf Championship held at the TPC Deere Run Golf Course.

A short weather delay in the morning followed by a lengthy one in the afternoon prohibited all teams to finish today. The second round will pick up tomorrow morning at 7:30am and will then be followed by the third round as well.

Northwestern shot the low round in the morning session, carding a 302, for a 36-hole total of 614. They moved up to 16th place (currently, but not final after 36-holes).

Ryan Christy inked the low round today for NWC with a 73 (+2), followed by both Justin Kraft and Colton Kooima at 76. Evan Schuler carded a 77 and Austin Reitz had an 80.

After 36-holes, Kooima has a 150 (74/76), followed by Christy 153 (80/73), Kraft 156 (80/76), Schuler 157 (80/77) and Reitz 158 (80/78) (places are not known due to not all teams finishing).
