The NAIA announced its 2013 men's golf scholar athletes and two Northwestern College players earned the postseason academic honor.
Seniors Michael Clark (Spencer, Iowa) and JD Pluim (Orange City, Iowa) earned the honor for the Red Raiders. This marks the second straight year that Clark took home the academic honor. A total of 111 men's golfers from across the NAIA earned the academic honor.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
