All-Time...Northwestern is 36-10 all-time against Doane, including an 8-2 advantage in the last 10 match-ups. The Red Raiders won both games against Doane last year and have won two straight in the rivalry.
Scouting Doane...The Tigers are currently in 10th place in the GPAC with a 1-6 record, recording a 78-49 win over Mount Marty for their lone conference victory. They have lost to Briar Cliff, Hastings, Dordt, Midland, Concordia and Dakota Wesleyan. Doane is 6-7 overall.
Jim Weeks returns for his second season as the head coach at Doane after guiding the Tigers to an 11-9 conference record, tying Hastings and Morningside for fourth place. They finished 21-10, matching the school record for wins in a season. Coach Weeks returns two starters and seven players off last year's squad.
Doane is third in the GPAC in scoring (84.2), shooting 51% from the field and 38% from beyond the arc. Defensively, they are giving up 76 points per game and own a +4 advantage on the boards.
Senior guard Nick Reed is the top scorer in the GPAC, averaging 22 points per game. A three-time all-conference selection and 2013 NAIA All-American, Reed also leads the team in rebounding (6.7) and assists (51). Dominique Smith ranks eighth in the GPAC in scoring (18.2) and leads the team with 32 three-pointers. Deonte Holt scores 14.8 points per game and is tied for second on the team with 23 assists.

Northwestern owns conference wins over Mount Marty and Nebraska Wesleyan but has lost to Briar Cliff, Morningside, Hastings and Midland.
Northwestern ranks in the middle of the GPAC in scoring (76.7) and field goal percentage (45%). They lead the GPAC with 113 steals and are second in rebounding (+6). Defensively, the Red Raiders are giving up 75 points per game.
Zack Leeper leads the team in scoring, pouring in 16.3 points per game. The senior has scored in double figures in every game and leads the team with 25 three-pointers. Jordan Baker averages nearly 14 points per game and ranks third in the league in field goal percentage (59%). Baker leads the team with 7.1 boards per game. Joey Habtemariam (10.3) and Levi Ettleman (6.7) are the other top scorers.
