Mount Marty, however, slowly chipped away the NWC lead and got to within three (79-76) with under 30 seconds to go. After a Raider turnover, the Lancers missed a three-pointer to tie it and then Goslinga made 1-of-2 free throws in the final seconds to seal the win.

Northwestern shot 53% for the game but struggled from the perimeter (2/14). The Raiders held a 45-32 advantage on the boards, pulling down 11 offensive rebounds, but committed 18 turnovers.
