The Red Raiders opened their season with a 73-60 win at Valley City State (N.D.). Curt Schilling led three NWC players in double figures with 23 points, 17 in the second half. Chad Schuiteman and Mark DeYounge added 14 and 13 points, respectively. Scoring totals are as follows (more info to come later when box score is available).
