Alex Huisken (Chandler, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Northwestern College next year.

Huisken Huisken is a 6’5”, 210-pound forward who lettered three years while playing for Southwest Christian High School. He averaged 22.9 points, nine rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.3 blocks as he helped lead his team to a 19-6 record and a berth in the second sub-sectional round of the Minnesota state playoffs. Huisken earned first team all-conference honors for the second straight year and earned all-area honors as a junior. He plans to major in business at Northwestern and is the son of Kurt and Dianne.

“Alex is a skilled basketball player,” commented Head Coach Kris Korver. “He knows how to compete and is a gifted scorer. Alex has been groomed in a tradition-rich high school program and we are very excited to have him in our program. It will be exciting to see him grow and mature over the next four years.”
