Grant WillitsAssistant Coach-JV Coach Willits, a 2006 Northwestern Graduate, was a two time letterwinner for the Red Raiders and was voted “Most Imspirational Player” Award two times while at Northwestern. He earned NAIA Scholar Athlete honors in 2005 and was a member of the 2004-05 squad which finished 29-4 and lost in the Elite Eight to eventual champion, Walsh (Ohio). Willits has coached basketball at South O’Brien (freshman, ’05-’06) and MOC/FV (Varsity Assistant, ’06-’07) and will serve as the JV coach this season for Northwestern. He currently teaches at South O’Brien High School in Paullina, Iowa. Willits and his wife, Megan (’06), reside in Orange City. Megan teaches transitional kindergarten at Kinsey Elementary in Sioux Center. |
