Ben Miller (Volga, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Northwestern College next year.Miller.jpg) Miller is a 6’5”, 170-pound wing player who has earned four basketball letters while playing for Sioux Valley High School. He averaged a double-double last season as a junior, scoring 23 points and pulling down 13 rebounds per game. Miller also dished out 3.5 assists and two blocks as he helped lead his team to a 20-6 overall record and a sixth place finish at the state tournament. He earned second team all-state honors and was named the Brookings Register player-of-the-year. Miller has also earned first team all-conference honors two straight years. The son of Dan and Donna, Miller serves as the senior class president and is a member of the National Honor Society. “We are excited to have Ben join our Red Raider basketball program,” commented Head Coach Kris Korver. “He is a versatile guard who can play and defend multiple positions on the court. Ben is long, very skilled and does a great job on the boards. He possesses outstanding work ethic and we are looking forward to watching him grow as a student, player, teammate and person over the next four years at Northwestern.”
