Alex Hicklin (Sioux City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College. Hicklin will also join the Red Raider baseball team in the spring.

Hicklin is a 6’2”, 215-pound linebacker who transfers to Northwestern after a year at Wayne State and lettered three years for Bishop Heelan High School. He earned first team all-state honors and all-Metro accolades while playing for Heelan. Hicklin plans to major in architecture/graphic design at Northwestern. He is the son of Tom and Belinda.

“Alex was an outstanding high school football player who played for a very good program,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He is an aggressive player who will be a great addition to our defense.”
