Tom Van Boven (Lynden, Wash.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Van Boven is a 5’9”, 226-pound offensive lineman/linebacker who lettered four years for Lynden High School. He earned honorable mention all-league honors two straight years as he helped lead his team to a state championship in 2006 and a third place finish last year. The son of Randy and Candy, Van Boven plans to major in athletic training at Northwestern.

“Tom comes to Northwestern from a very good high school football program,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He has a great deal of enthusiasm for the game of football and will join our defensive group in the fall.”
