Jon Rosenboom (Sioux Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Rosenboom is a 5-10, 190-pound running back who lettered three years for Sioux Center High School. The son of Bruce and Jayne earned first team all-district and first team all-Northwest Iowa honors for two straight seasons. Last season, Rosenboom rushed for 700 yards in five games and gained 1,250 yards in eight games his junior year. A member of the honor roll, Rosenboom plans to major in business/finance at Northwestern.

“We are pleased that Jon will be transferring here from South Dakota State,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He had an outstanding high school career even though his senior season was cut short due to injury. Jon is a strong runner with very good speed and will provide us additional depth at our running back position.”
