Preslee Moy (Falls City, Texas) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall. Moy also committed to play baseball for the Red Raiders earlier this spring.
Moy is a 5’10”, 170-pound quarterback and defensive back who had a standout, four-year career playing for the Poth High School football team. Moy threw for over 2,000 yards and accounted for 22 touchdowns in leading his team to the state playoffs and an 8-3 record. On defense, he registered 38 tackles, five passes defended and 10 interceptions. Moy earned first team all-district honors as a quarterback two years and all-district honors as a defensive back after his sophomore year. An academic all-state selection, Moy plans to major in athletic training and psychology at Northwestern. He is the son of David and Melissa.
“Preslee is a very good athlete who had a tremendous high school career in multiple sports,” said Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. “He has a good understanding of the game, been coached well and is a proven winner. We are excited to have Preslee be part of the Red Raider football program.”
