Weston McGill (Tyndall, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

McGill, the son of Rod and Vicki, is a 6’2”, 200-pound linebacker who lettered four years while playing for Bon Homme High School. He totaled 135 tackles, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries while leading his team to the state semifinals with a 7-4 record. McGill earned first team all-state accolades and earned all-conference honors two straight seasons. An honor roll student, McGill plans to major in physical education at Northwestern.

“We are extremely pleased that Weston will be joining our program,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He is a linebacker with good size and strength. Weston has a great nose for the ball and can finish tackles very well. We look forward to having him join our linebacking corps.”
