Senior Scott Stahl has been named a semifinalist for the Draddy Trophy. The Draddy Trophy is known around the nation as the "Academic Heisman." Stahl joins five other NAIA players and 152 total college football players as semifinalists for the award.
Stahl, from Bridgewater, South Dakota, is the son of Charles and Brenda, and has two sisters: Mallory and Jodi. Scott is married to Amanda, who is also a senior at Northwestern. Stahl, a NAIA scholar athlete, is a graduate of Bridgewater High School and is majoring in business finance/agriculture business. Stahl has 31.5 tackles for #9 Northwestern (5-1) this season. He is second on the team with 6.5 tackles for loss. In 2006, Stahl was an All-GPAC Honorable Mention.
