Senior Kadrian Hardersen (Hinton, Iowa) earned GPAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week honors for his role in the Red Raiders 13-12, season opening win at Nebraska Wesleyan.
The safety recorded 9.5 total tackles, seven solo and broke up one pass as he helped lead the Raider D in shutting down Nebraska Wesleyan in the second half. Hardersen also intercepted a Prairie Wolve pass and returned it 54 yards for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown in the second quarter. It was the first defensive touchdown of the season for a NWC defense which scored eight times in 2006.
Hardersen is the son of Larry and Donna.
