After a trio of practices on the opening day of 2007 training camp in the sweltering heat and humidity, the Red Raider football team returned to the field for the second day of workouts. Coach Otten and his coaching staff led their team in a morning session, followed by an afternoon practice under an overcast sky. The Raiders focused on individual and positional work during the afternoon session, which concluded with some eight on eight drills. NWC will again hold an evening session under the lights at Korver Field.
The countdown continues as the Red Raiders are down to 17 days before they open on the road in Lincoln, Neb. against Nebraska Wesleyan. The team will host their annual media day on Monday, Aug. 20 at 4:00 p.m. at Korver Field.
