Jacob Peterson (Atkinson, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.

The son of Charles Peterson and Laurie Lieswald, Peterson is a four-year letter winner from West Holt Rural High School. The 6’1”, 215-pound fullback and linebacker earned all-state honorable mention honors last year. Peterson plans to major in pre-medicine at Northwestern.

“Jacob is a young man with a tremendous amount of potential as a college football player,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He has a great passion for the game and possesses good size which will continue to develop over the course of his four years at NWC. Jacob will play either linebacker or defensive end.”
