Jordan Langer (Lincoln, Neb.) and Brent Peeples (Nashville, Ill.) have signed letters of intent to continue their football careers at Northwestern College this fall.
Langer is a 5’10, 180-pound running back who earned four letters while playing football for Lincoln Christian High School. He rushed for over 1,600 yards and scored 25 touchdowns which helped earn him all-state honors his senior year. Langer, who gained 300 yards on the ground in one game last season, also earned all-district and all-conference honors during his final two seasons. A member of the National Honor Society, Langer plans to major in secondary education at Northwestern. The son of Chris and Melissa, he also plans to run track at NWC.
“We are very pleased that Jordan will be joining our football team this fall,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He is a tremendously talented running back who has very good speed. Jordan will provide quality depth at our running back position.”
Peeples is a 6’2”, 225-pound running back/linebacker who lettered three years for Nashville Community High School. The son of Charles and Judy, he rushed for over 800 yards last season. Peeples also totaled 41 tackles and earned all-conference honors his junior and senior years. A member of the National Honor Society, Peeples plans to major in pre-medicine at Northwestern.
“Brent is a running back with outstanding size and athleticism,” commented Otten. “He will be another ‘big back’ in our group of running backs. We look forward to having Brent join the Red Raider football program.”
