Eight NWC Runners Earn NAIA Scholar Athlete Honors

Eight Red Raider cross country runners received NAIA Scholar Athlete honors this past season. Junior Ingrid Carlson (Sanborn, Iowa), and seniors Laura Jacobson (Galva, Iowa), Sarah Korver (Orange City, Iowa) and Lori Wolf (Orange City, Iowa) earned the honor for the women's team. On the men's side, seniors Jon Woehl (Ankeny, Iowa) and Anthony Ebert (Lynnville, Iowa) and juniors Jack Peterson (Walcott, Iowa) and Jon Kuik (Fargo, N.D.) earned the honor. Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.

In addition, Wolf also received NAIA Champions of Character honors.
