The 2007 event was run at the Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis.The Northwestern College women's team finished in 10th place out of 29 teams
Nov 9	Johnson, Miles Earn GPAC Cross Country Honors Freshmen Olivia Johnson and Charity Miles were named GPAC Women's Cross Country Runners-of-the-Week. Johnson, from Milford, Iowa, and Miles, from Thedford, Neb., finished first and second in last week's regional championship at Sioux Falls, S.D.
Nov 6	Womens X-Country Team Qualifies for Nationals For the first time since 1992, the Northwestern College women's cross country team has qualified for the NAIA national meet. The Red Raiders, ranked 15th in the final poll released earlier this week, received one of 15 at-large bids in the 29-team field. They join two other region III schools, Concordia (Neb.) and Black Hills State (S.D.).
Nov 5	Johnson Wins Women's Regional Cross Country Championship Olivia Johnson, a freshman from Milford, Iowa, won the women's championship at the NAIA Region III Cross Country Meet this past weekend. The meet was hosted by USF and run at the Prairie Green Golf Course.
Nov 1	Red Raider Cross Country Runners/Coach Earn Postseason Honors Olivia Johnson, a freshman from Milford, Iowa, has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runner-of-the-Year and headlines the 2007 women's cross country all-conference team. Johnson was the individual medalist at the GPAC Championships last Saturday in Crete, Neb., and won two other meets this season. Head Coach Dale Thompson earned GPAC Women's Cross Country Coach-of-the-Year honors after leading his team to a third place finish at the GPAC Championships and the program's first ever national ranking.

Oct 27	Owens, Woehl Lead NWC Men's Cross Country Team at GPAC Championships The Red Raider men's cross country team placed eighth out of 12 teams at the 2007 GPAC Championships hosted by Doane College in Crete, Neb. Northwestern totaled 198 points, 34 behind seventh place USF with 164.

The Red Raiders are tied for 24th with Westmont (Calif.) and join Concordia (Neb.) as the two GPAC schools in this week's ranking.
Oct 10	Johnson Earns Runner-of-the-Week Honors for the Second Time Olivia Johnson, a freshman from Milford, Iowa, earned GPAC Runner-of-the-Week honors for the second time this season.
Oct 8	NWC Men's Team Finishes Sixth at BC Invite The men's team placed in sixth overall out of 11 teams with a team score of 120. Danny Owens, a freshman from Clarinda, Iowa, led the Red Raiders with a 13th place finish and a time of 27:58.
Oct 8	NWC Women's CC Team Wins BC Invite/Johnson Captures Individual Title The Northwestern women's cross country team captured the team and individual championship this weekend at the Briar Cliff Invite. The Red Raiders finished with 40 points, 10 points better than second place Wayne State (50). Olivia Johnson, freshman from Milford, Iowa, won the individual title as she crossed the finish line in 18:24. It was her second overall championship this season as she also won the Dordt Invite.
Sep 17	Cross Country Teams Finish Strong at SDSU Classic The Red Raider cross country teams competed at the SDSU Classic Saturday morning at the Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings, S.D. The women's team finished in sixth place out of 12 teams with 136 points and were the top finisher among the NAIA teams.
Sep 14	NWC Cross Country Teams go to SDSU Invite The Red Raiders travel to Brookings, S.D., to compete in the SDSU Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15. The race will run on the Edgebrook Golf Course with the women's race to begin at 9:45 am.
