"As a Northwestern softball player, you will grow as a whole person. We push our athletes daily to not only perform well on the field but also in life. We want our young women to be women of integrity and faith. On the field, we want to play at a high level but it is not about the outcome of a game. Rather, it is about our quality of play. We want our athletes to be more concerned with how we perform as a team than how we perform individually. We strive to create an atmosphere of togetherness in our softball program."
