Spencer Gort (Rock Valley, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College beginning in the fall of 2008.

Gort, the son of Wade and Jan, is a 6'0" outfielder for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley High School. In his career Gort has hit .301 in 143 at bats, including 12 doubles, three triples, and four home-runs. Gort has earned three letters for the Nighthawks. Gort was named an All-Siouxland Conference honorable mention last season and participated in the 2006 Iowa State Baseball Tournament with the Nighthawks.

Gort will enter Northwestern as an undecided major.
