David Johnson (Yreka, California) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College beginning in the fall of 2008.

Johnson, the son of Erik Johnson and Tammy Stewart, is a 5’6” middle infielder for Yreka Union High School.  Johnson, a switch hitter, was a member of the Yreka team that went 19-9 last season.    

Johnson plans to major in Biology at Northwestern.

“David joins us with a high desire to play college baseball," said Coach Wede.  "I am very hopeful David can become a gold glove type infielder for us."
