Head Assistant Coach

States assistant coach Dave Nonnemacher, "In the process of pursuing quality in our play and approach to the game, we want to develop the young men who are part of the Raider baseball program."

Nonnemacher is entering his 14th year as a coach for the Red Raider baseball program. He served as an assistant coach from 1992-99 and began his first stint as head coach in 2000. Nonnemacher recorded a two-year record of 23-24 and led his team to a postseason berth in both 2000 and 2001. After a two-year hiatus, he returned to the head coaching position in 2003 where he served for three more years. In 2006, Nonnemacher led his team to their first postseason berth since 2001 with a 10-10 league mark and a seventh place finish. He was named 2006 GPAC Coach-of-the-Year at the season's close. Nonnemacher will serve as the head assistant coach.

Nonnemacher and his wife, Jody, have four children: Jesse, Josh, Drew (a member of the 2007-2008 Red Raiders), and Kara.
